Yes, Dogs are allowed onboard our 18ft Runabout Only. They are unfortunately not permitted onto our Pontoon boats at this time.
Are children allowed onboard?
All Children are welcome onboard, However if your child is less than 1yr old please check with us first as they must be fitted with a suitable lifejacket, of which our smallest is typically for 6months+ size (min 45cm chest circumference), or if too small must be held by an Adult that is wearing a life jacket.
Please note: NSW Maritime recommends not to bring any children under 1 year onto an open boat unless necessary, so we recommend following this if at all possible.

i dont have a boat license, do i need to have one to hire a boat?
No, you do not! As long as you are atleast 18, our boats can be driven without a boat license as we provide options for speed limitations to meet regulations and guidelines (maximum 10knot speed limit).
where can we travel in the harbour on the boat?
You are able to travel throughout most of Sydney Harbour as you wish. The northern most limit is between Watsons Bay and Georges Head, and you can travel just about anywhere south / west of there, including under and past the Harbour Bridge towards the Parramatta River (some exclusions apply). Maps are provided to you on the day.
do i need to pay the full amount at booking or can i just pay a deposit?
We kindly require full payment at time of booking to confirm your spot, but have free cancellation* up until 14 days out from your hire, or offer a 3 month credit voucher if cancelled up until 7 days out from your hire. Should bad weather not permit your booking to go ahead, we will provide you with a 3 month credit voucher to rebook your hire. Full T&C's Here
is fishing allowed on your boats?
Yes, Fishing is allowed on our 18ft Runabout Only. It is unfortunately not permitted on our new Pontoon boats at this time. Fishing licenses must be obtained if needed per local regulations.
do you sell gift vouchers i can give as a present?
Yes! We offer gift vouchers that cover half or full day hires on any of our vessels. They have a 3 year expiry so make the perfect gift for that someone special.
Do you hire any extra equipment for use during my booking?
Yes, we have fishing rods & tackle box, bags of ice, and an underwater SeaScooter all available for hire (subject to availability). These need to be pre-booked so please let us know at the time of booking.
Do i need to book in advance or can i just show up?
Yes, you must book in advance, preferably with a minimum 24hr notice. We do not accept walk-in bookings as we do not have a physical office, and need sufficient time to launch the boats for each hire.
WHAT TIME CAN I HIRE A BOAT?
We open for hires starting at 9am, and boats must be returned before sunset. We have a minimum 4 hour hire rate.
